1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the online game DailyFormula, published by [TO COMPLETE: name or company name of the publisher] (the “publisher”). By playing, you accept these terms.

2. The service

Every day, DailyFormula offers an automatically generated track, three ranked attempts and leaderboards. The game is free to play, with or without an account; an optional paid premium adds extra benefits (section 5a). The publisher may change the game, its rules and its leaderboards, and may take it offline for maintenance. It does not guarantee that the game will always be available.

3. Account

A guest account is created automatically in online mode. You can add an email address or a Google account to it so you can use it on other devices. You are responsible for access to your email address. Only one account per person is allowed.

4. Conduct

• Cheating of any kind is forbidden: programs that drive for you, tampering with the game, its files or its exchanges with the server, multiple accounts.
• Driver and club names must not be offensive, discriminatory or misleading, nor infringe the rights of others (trademarks, names of real people).

If these rules are broken, the publisher may remove results, rename, suspend or delete an account. See the Fair play page.

5. Leaderboards

The official times are those recalculated by the server. A time may be put under review, then approved or rejected. Leaderboards do not entitle you to any reward, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5a. Premium

Premium is optional: 6 attempts a day instead of 3, every stage of the calendar and the premium constructors. It is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, renewed automatically until cancelled, or as a 24-hour pass that does not renew. Prices are shown in the game, including VAT, before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe; you can cancel at any time from “Manage my subscription”: premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Because premium is digital content supplied immediately, by expressly requesting it before payment you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code). 6. Intellectual property

The game, its code, its text and its visuals belong to the publisher. The constructors, sponsors and tracks are fictional; any resemblance to existing names is coincidental. DailyFormula has no link with Formula 1, the FIA or any real team.

8. Liability

The game is provided as is. The publisher cannot be held liable for results lost because of an outage, a network failure or your browser data being cleared.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought first (see the Support page). Failing that, the competent courts are those determined by law. [TO COMPLETE: consumer mediator, if a paid service is offered (phase 7)]
