Fair play
A leaderboard only means something if every time was genuinely set. Here is how DailyFormula makes sure of it.
Your time is recalculated by the server
During an attempt, the game records your inputs (steering, throttle, brake) 120 times a second. At the end, it sends this recording to the server, which replays the whole run with exactly the same simulation as your browser. The official time is the server’s. A recording that has been edited or sped up, or that does not produce the claimed time, is rejected.
Suspicious times are reviewed
A lap can be valid yet surprising: steering moved faster than a human hand can, a time close to a physical limit, an abnormal lead over every other player. It is then put under review: it only enters the leaderboard once a moderator has approved it. You can see this status in your attempts of the day.
The rules
- One account per person. A device can only be used for two accounts a day.
- No programs that drive for you, no tampering with the game or its exchanges with the server.
- No offensive, discriminatory or misleading driver or club names.
If cheating is established, the results concerned are removed and the account may be suspended. To challenge a decision, contact support (see the Support page).
